March 2016 beauty favourites!

Hey everyone,
If you have never read this blog before, hi! I'm Chanté :)
Todays post is dedicated the items I have been loving this month! All related to beauty & skincare.

An assortment of my favourite items (some new and some not as new)

This Clinique Chubby Stick is moisturising and does not dry out my lips, and also has a nice colour to it that you can wear anytime. It has an orangey-red tone and applies easily in the form of a lip crayon. The one I have is in the shade mega melon. They cost $35 in Australia. I definitely would love to try more of these! I think they are perfect for teens who don't like the feeling of a strong lipstick, or like a natural colour.

This is a swatch of the Clinique chubby stick, but you can apply a few layers to get a stronger colour.

This body lotion is amazing! It is the Moisturising Body Lotion by Girl Lane. It hydrates and makes my skin feel soft but doesn't have a strong scent, which is good for people who like natural scents. It's great for before bed after a long day, so the scent isn't strong when you sleep, but also great for all day use. I definitely want to try more Girl Lane products!

The Keep Your Cool Breakout Calming Mask by Formula 10.0.6 is refreshing, helps clear my skin and also works perfectly as a bit of a moisturiser after using my cleanser! (Just remember that the effect of a skincare product ranges from person to person) Sells for $8.99 at Priceline Pharmacy.

W7 Liquid eyeliner, I think this glides on pretty well and is at an affordable price! I am still trying to master winged eyeliner! I think this bottle is a cute style and shape and can fit in your purse or pretty much anywhere! It sells for just $4.99 at Chemist Warehouse.

This Victorias Secret Pink case is perfect for anything! You can use it as a makeup bag, store items in it, a pencil case, or items for a workout or class! I love the design and I use it very frequently. Sadly, there is no specific Victorias Secret Pink store in Australia, and I can't get that much of the Victorias Secret Pink products. I definitely recommend this case for teen girls!

The Formula 10.0.6 On your mark blemish mark fader works very well for me, and I feel that it quickens the healing and removal process of a pimple. I like to apply this after my cleanser, mask and moisturiser before bed. It sells for $9.99 at Priceline Pharmacy.

I received this Urban Rituelle peach blossom petit parfum as a gift and it was purchased from Forever new. The bottle is gorgeous and I keep this in my purse/bag so I can refresh myself during the day! It's perfect because its small and smells amazing! It has a very sweet, fruity, floral scent. I'm not sure if these are still sold there.

I hope you try out some of these products! If you do, post a pic on instagram and tag me in it- @its.chante.rose !!

Things to do in winter/cold weather

Hey everyone! Hopefully you've been enjoying my blog.
Today, I'm going to list things to do when the weather isn't warm. Its pretty cold right now, so I decided this is the perfect post!

Things to do in winter/cold weather:

1. Have a photoshoot!
The dark, dramatic skies can make a really cool vibe for your pictures.

Wearing: Factorie Anorak, Valleygirl sweater, tilli jeans and adidas originals superstars.
Disclaimer: These pictures were not sponsored. Also, all my pictures belong to me and please do not use them without consent.

2. Clean out your wardrobe!
Get rid of the things you don't need anymore.

3. Sit back, relax, and light your favourite candle. *do not light a candle or any flammable device without your parents permission*
For a cold day, try scents like berry trifle or winter glow. Christmas scents could also be used!! I use this Yankee Candle.

4. Get your journal or diary out and start writing! You will feel relaxed, and its a great mindfulness activity.
I got both of these journals from Kikki K.

5. Go through all your beauty products and makeup!
You will definitely find some stuff that has definitely gone beyond its shelf life! It's time to say goodbye! This bag is from Mecca Maxima. *quick tip* Store your favourite makeup in cute bags like this, or victorias secret etc.

Good luck!

Comment what you do on cold days!! xx

How to survive going back to school!

Hey guys, Image result for school word
So school is approaching... I'm going to give you tips, and back to school must haves!
Here we go:
1. Don't stress!
Its ok, you will get to school on the first day and realise its actually all going to be fine. You have teachers, friends and people you can look to for help and support.
My tips for anti-stress:
If you have your parents consent, light a candle, make yourself some tea or hot chocolate, sit down and listen to music, read a book, or magazine! Also, bath bombs and relaxing baths help a lot!
2. Pimp your locker!
If you have a nice, decorative locker, your going to feel more calm, and it will be personalised which will help you relax and make you feel at home. Make sure you are allowed to decorate your locker before you do it though!
3. Create your school friendship/support group:

If you're going into your first year of high school, this applies to you the most! Find people who you can appreciate, have a good time with and trust within your year level, find the teachers you love and also remember that they will be there for you in tough times.
4.Enjoy it!
School is to help you accomplish things, follow your dreams, create awesome friendships while also educating you, so have fun and also remember that school is better when you are relaxed.
5. Do your homework as soon as you get it- don't procrastinate!
Delaying when you do your homework will put you under way more pressure and stress, and you will miss out on other things you could have been doing.
6. If you live close to your school, walk!
It's great exercise, and it will make you alert and refreshed before your first class starts!

Back to school must-haves!

An essentials kit: this could include a lip balm, hand sanitiser, tissues, hair pins and hair ties and everything you would normally keep with you. Also, you can keep it in a cute cosmetics case! I recommend Sportsgirl cosmetic cases because they are really pretty, and also just look like a pencil case.

Spare exercise books:
I was constantly running out of these, so I brought a bunch to school, put them in my locker inside a folder, and I never ran out!

A folder for loose worksheets:
This helps if you have worksheets with important information that you don't want to lose, or you may need again!

Headphones: (this may vary between schools)
Not all schools would allow headphones in class, but at my school sometimes we can listen to music. Therefore, I always keep headphones in my laptop case!

Laptop case:
This is an obvious necessity! Don't get caught out carrying your laptop to all your classes! You might drop it! It's also so much easier and efficient for you to have a carry/laptop case.

Anyway guys, this was my guide to surviving going back to school! Please don't stress and remember school can be enjoyable and fun if you let it be!

Comment your back to school must haves!

Where to buy Bath and Body Works in Australia!

Image result for bathandbodyworks
Hey guys,
So, you might be wondering where you can find Bath and Body Works in Australia?
I have the answer.
There is a new Bath and Body Works store that has opened up at Sydney Airport in the T2 Domestic Terminal! So next time you're in Sydney, or you know someone who is going, get them to stop there.
The prices are obviously more expensive then the American prices, but if you truly love Bath and Body Works, you wouldn't mind.
Sometimes they have certain deals such as buy 3 for a certain amount of money etc.
I got my dad to buy me 3 travel sized body products, hand soaps and some pocketbac hand sanitisers (in the new design.) I absolutely love them, although there were not many options for the hand sanitisers!

Also, when my dad went, there was only one candle which was the 3-wick Eucalyptus Mint, so there were not many options at the time for candles, but that may change

Your other option for buying Bath and Body Works is ebay, which can have some great deals, but don't forget that you have to add shipping prices.

One last option is a website called:  http://bathbodyandhome.com.au/index.php/
Bath Body and Home apparently stocks candles, body products, and the old pocketbac sanitisers. I am yet to try a product from this website, so maybe I will try it and give you guys a review. Shipping cost is decided depending on where you live.
Good luck on your hunt for Bath and Body Works!!

Goals for 2016!

Hey everyone! I hope that there are people who will read my blog :) make sure you follow me on here!
Today I'm going to be posting about everything from the dream items I would like to own and save up for this year to the goals I want to achieve this year. Maybe you will see something you want as well, or goals to motivate you to achieve great things in 2016.
I was inspired to write this after I was begging my mum for an item I want!

Dream item #1:
BRIMNES Dressing table IKEA Built-in mirror with hidden storage space that helps you organise your jewellery and make-up.

This is the dressing table I want. Or at least I want a dressing table that can fit my favourite beauty products. The reason this one is perfect is because its not too big, it has a mirror and it has a nice colour with reasonable storage. My room doesn't have much space left, but this would fit well (hopefully).
Details: Brimes Dressing Table,  white. $130. Sold at Ikea. (These pictures are all from the Ikea website)

Dream Item #2:
I really want a yoga mat! Maybe even a lululemon yoga mat because I love the thickness, the yoga mat I use hurts my bag when I touch the floor. The yoga mat I use is my entire family's. TIP: Yoga mats are great because, you can buy carry bags and take them wherever you go, so you can exercise even without huge pieces of equipment.
The Reversible Mat 3mm
Details: Lululemon reversible mat. 3mm.

Dream Item #3:
Pandora ring/rings! I absolutely love the birthstone rings and the bow rings, they are gorgeous!

Dream Item #4:
A throw blanket, preferably a wintery-knitted one! And more pillows for my bed!

Dream Item #5:
A Michael Kors bag! I absolutely love the selma studded medium crossbodies!

Dream Item #6:
I really want the bardot denim jacket!! I need a jacket I can wear formally but also just for casual events, so it would be great.

I hope I gave you some good gift ideas, things to put on your wishlist or things to save up for!
Now for goals:
Goal #1:
Eat healthily!
Goal #2:
I want to be less afraid of drama class! Even though I did well in my solo, I still got super nervous and anxious!
Goal #3:
Be more independent (but not too independent that I don't socialise enough haha)
Goal #4:
Read more challenging and mature reads! I want to extend my vocabulary and also learn more about the world!
Goal #5:
Don't leave homework to the last minute.
Goal #6:
Keep my room clean and organised.
Goal #7:
Try and make more money from little jobs.
Goal #8:
Make my own pillow! (decorate it)
Goal #9:
Get followers on my blog!!

Thanks guys,
hopefully I have people who read my blog XXX

Lush collection/favourites

Hey guys! So, I thought it would be a good idea to make a post about my lush collection and all the products I love and a review on them.
I have more items than in this post in my collection, but I only wanted to show some of my favourite products!

                                         1. The Brightside Mini bubble bar
This bubble bar has a fresh, sweet, citrus scent. I also have the large version of this one and a little goes a long way. There obviously isn't much colour to it, but there are a lot of bubbles (depending on how much of the bar you put in the water) that fill your bath with an amazing scent.

2. The Woosh shower jelly. It has a fresh, rosemary scent and a bright blue colour. This shower jelly does have a very strong smell though.
3. The Comforter Mini. This bubble bar is very relaxing. Its best used after long days at work/school or when you want to wind down. It has a blackcurrant scent with a more soft twist.

4. The Superbalm scalp treatment. I didn't like the feeling of the balm in my hair at first, so just make sure you thoroughly wash out the treatment and then shampoo and condition. Don't leave the treatment in over night. You are only required to massage it onto your scalp before shampooing. One of the positives is that its smells natural and fresh!

5. The Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub. I only have positive things to say about this product! It's absolutely amazing (in my opinion) you will love this if your into fresh, ocean breeze kind of scents! It feels amazing on your skin and leaves a nice hint of fragrance.

This is the way I store my bath bombs! It's super efficient and I can easily choose one to put in the bath by looking at them and taking it out of the glass jar.

I hope you enjoyed this post xx
comment what u would like to see next??
Maybe a victorias secret collection?
